Large pothole in outside line, southbound on M11 near Hastingwood.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4277772.

Today I hit a large pothole in the outside lane of the M11 near Hastingwood, travelling southbound. This has caused damage to my front driver side wheel which I will have to replace and I will be pursuing compensation to cover the cost. That happend at 1310 today (02/03/23)

I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further investigation. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
