Large Pot Hole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4269167.

Whilst driving this morning South bound on the m11 just before the Hastingswood Turning there is a large pot hole in the Outside Lane. My vehicle hit this pothole causing my tyre to blow out and rip off of the rim. I will now be seeking to reclaim these damages. This pot Hole is a Danger to road users and especially Motor cycle users as If i was on a bike it would have caused someone to come off. The carriageway surface is now exposed to a new colour surface below the tarmac. This is a Huge hazard and requires amendment immediately before it causes a major accident

We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
