Large Pothole in Lane 3

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4265741.

Large pothole in lane 3 which appears, from reading reports has been an issue for a long time. Severely damaged front tyre and alloy wheel which will need to be replaced.

Extremely dangerous, especially when travelling at 70mph!!!

  • How do i claim for damage to my tyre, it had to be replaced due to damage, why has it taken so long to repair this as it has caused other drivers issues?

I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further prompt investigation. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
