Substantial potholes on live lanes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4255553.

Several large potholes which car bounced on, noticed 3 on outside lane. Exactly place between junction 7 and 8 on M11 southbound carriageway is unknown.

Potholes both in middle of lane which could cause dangerous swerving and on edge of lane. These are big enough to be an issue on a residential street, on a motorway these are deadly.

I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further prompt investigation. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
