Poor road surface

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4254342.

Eastbound at the Beddingham Roundabout the road surface onto and on the roundabout is very poor and broken up, only half the lane is usable.

  • Just before the roundabout travelling east on outer lane (position for turning right to Newhaven A26) very poor road surface vehicle unstable when driving over. Impossible to avoid as nearside lane used for A27 to Eastbourne

  • Thank you for your report concerning the road condition at Beddingham Roundabout. We’re aware of safety issues here and a repair is planned, and the work(s) should be completed no later than 15 March, subject to roadspace approval for closures so that the repairs can be safety carried out.
