Traffic lights on roundabout from A630

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4252987.

I travel along this road most weekdays at just after 4 pm. Since the road works have been completed the road has been running smoothly and only 2 or 3 car have been queuing at the lights. This has been great and saved loads in time on my journey home. But during the last couple of weeks 1 lane has been closed and it is causing tailbacks past the Catcliffe junction. Would it be possible to alter the lights to let more vehicles through to relieve the congestion. This would also improve the air quality as traffic wouldn’t be stood queuing.
