Hindhead Tunnel "Incident" yet again

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 08:32, Tue 21 February 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4250632.

Im getting fed up with the Hindhead Tunnel not being managed correctly. Despite all of the technology and cameras and human intervention, still so called "incidents" are not being turned off. I would say that at least once per week, the speed limit goes to 40mph stating an "incident" only to find that there is no incident whatsoever. Again, this morning at around 6AM, the speed limit is reduced northbound due to an "incident" and again, nothing. You really need to sort this out!
