Left junction sign missing.

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 16:02, Mon 20 February 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4249212.

On the verge of the southbound Barnet By-pass A1, there is a signpost which used to have a sign on it indicating a junction with a road (Galley Lane) ahead to the left. The sign is now missing. It's quite dangerous not to have an indication that vehicles will be slowing down from high speed to take a fairly sharp left turn. The sign has been missing for many months.

Updates

  • Received reply from NH that "a replacement sign has been ordered and, while we currently have no timeframe for its arrival, we’ll ensure this is reinstalled when it’s delivered." It's not yet reinstalled.
