Poor and dangerous "cats eyes"/road markings.

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 10:16, Mon 20 February 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4247628.

When travelling South on the A303, after dark and using headlights, for about three miles after leaving the M3 at Junction 8 and in the Micheldever area, the "cats eyes" are extremely poor and not functioning at all in some places. This is very dangerous, as it makes it extremely difficult to determine which lane you are in and where you are on the road.

Also relevant to this and on a general note, when travelling from the county of Dorset on the A354 to the county of Wiltshire I have noticed that literally "on" the border, the quality of the "cats eyes" in Wiltshire are very poor compared to the excellent quality of the ones in Dorset.

I look forward to hear from you on your thoughts on these matters.
