Huge pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4247456.

This area of road has just been resurfaced, unfortunately someone saw fit to stop the resurfacing right next to a huge pothole just as u turn right on to the slip road from Sydney Farm Lane. If a motorcycle hits this as turning they will almost certainly come off.

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the pothole on the A1 / A606 interchange at Stamford. I appreciate you taking the time to report this. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further prompt investigation. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
