Orwell bridge A14 Westbound

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 21:28, Sun 19 February 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4246626.

Variable Electronic speed displays are not present when joining the A14 Westbound. From Nacton interchange roundabout Westbound. There are signs which are clearly stating the speed limit of 60miles per hour in every situation. Speed cameras are set to work automatically conform the wind sensors. Now ,there is no variable speed limit indicator but there is a camera soon as you joined the dual cariegeway Westbound. So ,I received a penalty charge for travelling with 52 miles per hour in a 60miles per hour section road. If its a situation of high wind speed develops ,every driver driving that section from Nacton interchange Westbound to Orwell bridge its liable for speeding. Now that its unlawful. I received £100 and 3points on my licence for this. Please make sure in future this will be mended. Remember the first variabile electronic speed indicator its near the bridge.
