Drivers fail to stop at roundabout

Reported via mobile in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 09:55, Sun 19 February 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4244959.

Hi. I live in Barton-in-Fabis, work in Nottingham and have to exit right off the Millhill roundabout onto Green Lane most days. I have daily issues with traffic heading up the A453 from the M1 failing to give way to traffic on the island. I have never known a roundabout like it. People simply don't look or even stop half the time. I have had so many near misses that would have resulted in a collision if I didn't drive so carefully around it. I believe traffic lights are planned along with the Fairham development but this is 3 years away. Could some traffic calming methods like the raised lines or better signage be utilised in the meantime? Thank you.
