Potholes on motorway

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4244534.

The third lane between the junctions is absolutely terrible. There’s breaks in the surface between the third and forth lane. As you change lanes it makes the steaming wheel shake. It’s around the area when you’re heading westbound on the m62 and there’s what looks like a field and allotments to the left of you as you drive. It’s been like this for quite some time.

  • Thank you for your report concerning the surface of the carriageway on the M62 junctions 11-12. There is an underlying issue with the topography of the land here that has caused bumps in the carriageway. The resolution for this would be a complete re-build of the motorway which is not a feasible option at this time. Your report has been passed to our local inspector who will review the issue. Repairs will be arranged as needed.
