Dangerous potholes on southbound slip road, junction 18. Multiple potholes across the road, impossible to avoid.

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the potholes on the A12 at junction 18. I appreciate you taking the time to report this. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further prompt investigation. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
