A40 Eastbound parallel to Old Ross Road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4235582.
Along side the A40 and the Old Ross Road at Whitchurch there is a wooden fence between the two roads, there are complete sections of fencing that has been damaged and in some cases completely missing. I think this is dangerous especially at night when driving into the village you are facing oncoming traffic with headlights visible through the missing fencing. Can the panels be replaced please?

Whole fence panels are missing meaning there is no protection beteeen 'Old Ross Road' and the main A40. There are a number of families with young children living on Old Ross Road so this presents a real risk as there is now direct access to the main road.

I posted this problem on your page first on the 15th February 2023 and to date (26/03/2024) nothing has happened to correct or resolve this problem. There are now many more panels missing and others are flapping in the wind of passing vehicles. Will this problem ever be resolved?
