Dangerous standing traffic

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4232937.

Traffic heading north along Fleetwood Rd South towards Thornton s tailing back and blocking or partially blocking traffic heading north westwards towards Fleetwood from Poulton on Amounderness Way. This seems to be caused by unrestricted access to the roundabout from Carleton and out of sync traffic lights - where pinpointed on the map. this is manifestly dangerous and liable to result in serious accidents. the issue to my knowledge has been there for over a week.
