Excessive littering M1 slip road j29 both northbound and southbound

Reported via mobile in the Litter (NH) category by Louise Wood at 08:36, Tue 14 February 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4230587.

Littering that is continually increasing on the M1 in particular junction 29 southbound and northbound. It also continues along the carriageway up to junction 30. As if we as a society have become blind to this problem. There is also a disproportionate amount of large plastic sheeting in the vegetation on the verges which could pose a hazard to passing vehicles should it blow onto the carriageway. Not to mention the potential harm to the wildlife. Please, please take action and if possible put up signage to try to discourage people from littering. It greatly breaks my heart to see such a mess.
