Timing of traffic lights on approach to Junction 7 roundabout

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category by Michaela Rutherford at 10:11, Wed 8 February 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4213818.

The traffic lights on the approach to the stoops roundabout (Junction 7 of M62) from Rainhill only stay on green for 20 seconds or so, approximately 2 or 3 cars get through before they change. This is causing a huge back up along the A57 and has been going on for at least 2 weeks.
