Signs not updating when broken down vehicle in road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4213813.

On at least four occasions in the morning since the smart motorway has been live in this location there has been a broken down vehicle in the left lane westbound approaching junction 8/9 but the motorway signs have not been updated to close the lane or warn oncoming traffic. On each occasion, the broken down vehicle is obscured view until the last moment which is a serious risk to road users. The smart motorway function is not fit for purpose.
