Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4201440.

Nearside lane needs repairing immediately. Been like it for at least two weeks. Weather is looking good this weekend and Motorcycles will be out. It's a totally unsighted piece of road for any vehicle following another. It's a 2m x 1m hole and is about 6-8" deep, If a bike pulls out of, or into that lane, the lip edge of the pothole will unsettle it and the rider will be off and probably dead at 70mph. Damage sustained by cars is serious enough but the consequences for bike riders can be far worse.
