Aquaplaning

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 12:58, Fri 3 February 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4200041.

I use the A30 to Exeter numerous times everyday on the school run. The length between Whiddon Down and Cheriton Bishop junctions on a wet day is treacherous with run off across both carriageways causing aquaplaning and subsequent accidents. I sincerely believe is the grass and weeds could be removed from the gravel drainage in the central reservation, allowing the water to flow into the drains rather than across the carriageway this issue could be greatly reduced.
