Broken manhole cover

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4190545.

The manhole cover, despite being fixed in October (and previously) is again flipping up as vehicles drive over it. It is extremely noisy and, as previously, getting worse. Please can it be fixed properly this time?

  • Thank you for your report of a manhole cover on Grantham Road. This is a BT Openreach cover. Our inspector will report it to them, but it is for BT to repair.

    The concrete around the manhole is breaking up and the cover is moving a lot and banging very loud
