Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4189758.

Due to water ingress . There are holes appearing under the bridge on the west side .

  • Thank you for your report concerning Hamble Bridge, M27.

    As this is a serious structural issue, it’s requiring a full replacement/repair. Currently, we’re assessing the condition and structural load carrying capacity so we can determine what replacements are needed. Our assessment and part orders are likely to take a few months, so we’re anticipating that works will formally begin in summer of this year. We apologise for the lengthy timescale, and would like to assure you that the time taken is to ensure that the job is completed safely and thoroughly.

  • This "repair" has been going on for months and months and seems to be never ending. Can you give me an indication of an end date?
