No temporary sign displaying westbound closure

I've just had 30 min added to my journey, because there was no sign on the roundabout prior to joining the M181 or at the next new roundabout, stating you couldn't go westbound. If id very warned earlier I could have used the A18, instead I had to travel to junction 4, come all the way back and then travel on A18. This is about the third Sunday in last six months this has happened. It's really poor and a total lack of communication on the Highway Agencies part or contractor you've appointed.

I’d like to apologise for your extended journey. Unfortunately, due to this being emergency works there was a short timeframe for our contractors who were unable to obtain the four special signs required for advanced warning to road users for this closure. However, they did try to compensate with a number of ‘road ahead closed’ and ‘diversion signs’ approaching the roundabout in the middle on the M181.
We do try our best to prevent things like this from happening, but it can be more challenging when it's an emergency situation.
