Numerous large potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4180653.

The road surface on the slip road has been in a very poor state for months. The majority of the damage is as the road curves to join the roundabout. If a motorcycle hit one of them they could easily unseat the rider.

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the potholes on the A12 exit slip at junction 18. I appreciate you taking the time to report this. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further prompt investigation. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We also carry out frequent safety inspections where potholes and other defects are recorded. We then carry out repairs prioritising the most serious. Kind regards National Highways
