Massive pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4180328.

Merging from the A11 (coming from London) onto the A14 towards Newmarket there is a large pothole in the left lane.

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the pothole on the A14 westbound prior to the A11. I appreciate you taking the time to report this.

    We’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further prompt investigation. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly.

    We also carry out frequent safety inspections where potholes and other defects are recorded. We then carry out repairs prioritising the most serious.
