Lettering peeling off and cant be seen due to shrubs

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category by Richard Evens at 17:30, Thu 26 January 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4174277.

The sign that tells motorists that there is an exit approaching (northbound to Highclere and Andover road A343) is not clearly visible and needs replacing. Lettering and arrows badly worn plus reflective surface not effective. Ideally this should also be placed much earlier than the 300yds marker too. It's a nasty slip road and with only 300yds warning that there is a turning motorists have little time to get their speed down to an appropriate level. Hit this slip road (thinking its long ) at 70 mph and you will more than likely hit the crash barrier on the bend which has been replaced on numerous occasions since 1998 when road was built. Id love to see the sign moved but in the mean time it at least needs to be cleaned re lettered and all the bushes cut back so can be seen 300yds BEFORE the sign... I have dash cam fitted in my training car if you need stills can provide just ask!
