Very deep pot hole in lane 1

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4171060.

There is a very deep pothole that has grown considerably over the last 24 hours. Will damage a car and is dangerous to a biker. Just before M5 A 160.0 marker (southbound) in lane one.

    We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect. We know that a damaged road surface can, on occasion, be potentially dangerous and we have processes in place to ensure any hazardous defects are repaired quickly.
