Unsuitable road layout

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4167812.

I experience multiple near misses at this junction. The road layout at the junction of the A56 and the A682 is dangerous and causes congestion during busy periods. The majority of traffic at the junction takes the A56 route however the layout allows both lanes to be used by traffic taking the A682 route and only one lane to be used by those continuing on the A56.
