Increase speed limit to 50mph

Road is wide enough and long enough to warrant being 50mph for the entire stretch up to Hedon.

    Speed limits on our network are set following guidance set by the Department for Transport, and decided upon after reviewing multiple factors including: - History of collisions - Road geometry and engineering - Road function - Composition of road users (including existing and potential levels of vulnerable road users) existing traffic speeds -Road topography -Environmental impact

    At the moment there are no plans to increase the speed limit in this area. The performance of our network is continuously monitored with intelligence gathered via regular network performance reviews forming our forward programme of schemes.
