Multiple potholes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4159701.

Potholes all along both sides of the road from the roundabout to the houses. Some very big and deep. Have been there for a month now. Worried they will do some damage soon if not fixed.

  • I wish to enquire as to what is being done about the vast number of potholes in the A35 road leading from Dorchester towards Bridport. The surface of approx 1 mile of the road from Monkey's Jump roundabout towards Bridport is extremely potholed and, in my opinion, quite dangerous I have seen cars trying to avoid the potholes, by swerving around them, only to hit another one, on several occasions. I have to travel on this route several times per week and cannot avoid the potential damage to my car, whilst navigating this course. - I have a Honda CRV, which is a fairly large and robust vehicle, but smaller cars are likely to receive far greater damage whilst travelling on this stretch of road I have lived in Dorset for over 50 years and have never experienced such a damaged main road surface, which needs very urgent attention, before a serious incident occurs
