The dual lanes at the lights

Reported via mobile in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 07:46, Fri 20 January 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4151615.

Hi. I wonder if some consideration could be made regarding the dual lanes at the lights by the thoroughbred pub going toward the eastbourne road. Before the works there was a right lane only and a straight ahead. Since the works the right lane road markings have been removed and so at peak times it’s become seriously dangerous with people trying to cut into the left lane. (On the wannock side) I was almost swiped out this morning by a car who wasn’t willing to queue and was insistent on pushing into the lane. This rarely happened before the road was updated owing to the fact the lanes were clearly marked. Would it be possible to review this please as I don’t much care for being in a car crash in the morning with my 4 year old in tow. Anything you could do would be appreciated. Thank you
