Missing giveway markings A14 J46 Eastbound exit

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4150054.

Road was resurfaced several months ago and "No road markings" sign placed at top of slip road. Lane markings have since been repainted but giveway markings at end of slip road have not. This is a junction where frequently vehicles overshoot the sliproad and end up in the ditch opposite so lack of road markings just contributes to this.

  • Thank you for your report concerning the give way lines on the A14. No road markings and extra give way signs are on the slip road to warn drivers that the markings have faded. Longer term there is a scheme in the planning stage for road marking renewal that includes this slip road. Kind regards
