Outside pallet plus blue barns and half of the old ipswich rd

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4136104.

The rd old ipswich rd is FULL of POTHOLES some like craters which is damaging cars..! To avoid these potholes which are now out of control more than 20!! you have to play dodgem cars to avoid smashing up your wheel trims. residents down this road are up in arms. The lorries drive at notorious speeds this road is a car crash waiting to happen please advise when something can de done to rectify the evergrowing lorries entering this road as a slip rd to get off the A12 this has been ongoing now for a yar and half i have complained numerous times to no avail.

    We've referred your report to the route inspector who'll inspect the site, but we must make you aware we're only responsible for the main A12 carriageway and the slip road you've mentioned. Old Ipswich Road is the responsibility of the local authority.

    If our inspector finds any potholes that require repair on the slip road this will be arranged by the inspector if required.

    As for the Old Ipswich Road, any potholes being reported will need to be reported to the local authority.
