Surface damage across inside lane on off-ramp going North

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 18:51, Thu 12 January 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4121054.

There is a lot of damage, almost like subsidence across the left turning lane, towards the bottom of the off ramp. Surface very uneven and cracking, and variable depths across lane, some parts must be a depth of more than 5cms. Issue for weeks and getting worse with current weather.

  • I've just travelled from jct 4 to jct 2 of the M6. For the duration of the journey we were put on a 50mph speed limit because of am incident. There were no police, ambulance, fire services or Highways agency vehicles nor any incident. I think these had been left on from earlier.
