Trees falling onto Public Right of Way

Trees within the National Highways land ownership are encroaching onto Itchen Valley Footpath 22 either side of the M3 and need cutting back.

  • Thank you for your report concerning overgrown trees on the M3 at Itchen Valley Footpath.

    Our inspector visited the location and agrees that work is needed to ensure the safety of road users.

    We've arranged for the trees overhanging this footway to be cut back within the next 28 days.
