In the middle of December a contractor company set up 3-way traffic lights at this junction for a week and dug a deep/wide hole on the verge by the SV concrete marker posts. When they left, a week before Xmas, the whole road was flooded in the light rain and became almost impassable. Also, a pile of gravel and stones were left on the edge of the road, not on the verge, and that has spread into the Turners Hill Road and across the sharp/sloped junction down to Macro4, Holiday Inn, Nuffield Gym and The Pavilions. It's an absolute safety hazard for accidents and damage to vehicles. I called SE Water ref [phone removed] initially and they responded that it's not them, then I called Thames Water and Southern Water who all deny the roadworks and responsibility. The community and the Turners Hill Road users need the flood resolved correctly and the road surface on the junction swept/cleared asap please.
