Incorrect confusing and dangerous lane markings

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4096541.

At Cophall Roundabout at the junction of the A27 A22 near Polegate as you travel from the east A27 you join the roundabout to travel to the A22 North the lane is correctly marked A22N . But as you follow the lane round it starts to be marked A22W. This is confusing and dangerous especially in the dark and caused me to veer out of what was the correct lane and traverse the roundabout again.
