Regular flooding

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 00:33, Wed 4 January 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4083444.

The inside lane after the slip on this stretch of the A38 westbound is incredibly dangerous in the rain (inside westbound isn’t much better). The surface holds water like nothing and makes it very very prone to aqua planing, and the huge amount of spray from other vehicles makes it harder to see. There seems to be grooves from how many cars have been over that have allowed it to form. It desperately needs resurfacing and drainage improves before someone is hurt or killed
