Deep pothole - causing vehicles to swerve or lose control when they hit it

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 21:21, Tue 3 January 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4083060.

There are a series of huge, elongated potholes on the westbound carriageway in lane 2 of 2. There are three, and the start just after the exit slip to the A120, and the last being approximately 75 yards before the overbridge which carries the start of the A120 over the A12.

These holes are dangerous. They not only risk causing damage to vehicles, but before I was unfortunate to hit the first one, I saw the car in front of my hit it, swerve violently and encroach on lane 1. Had there been another vehicle in lane 1, there would have been a serious collision. These need to be rectified before a serious injury or fatal collision takes place.
