Litter is causing blockages and flooding

Reported via desktop in the Litter (NH) category anonymously at 14:03, Fri 30 December 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4069101.

There is so much litter up and down the the M66 and on the slip roads from junction 2 - 3 that this week the motorway bridge under junction 2 has been flooded all week with the bad rain. The litter in this area has been reported several times and there never seems to be any thing done about it. Someone will get killed with that flooding as it will cause a serious car or motorbike accident.
