Sliproad off the M18 is absolutely disgusting

The amount of litter around here is disgusting, not helped by the fact the traffic lights hold you on red with absolutely no traffic coming (pointless lights) you can't say this has happened over 6 months (referring to your normal excuse of we clean here twice a year) to be fair the whole of the A1M is strewn with litter, plastic bags hanging off trees. Get the whole area cleaned

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways on December 29 about your concerns of litter on M18 Slip road. We do appreciate you bringing this to our attention. The maintenance of litter in this area has been undertaken throughout December and is planned to continue through early January. We will carry out an inspection of the area to ensure this has been completed and if not then we will arrange for the work to be carried out.

    I would like to reassure you all litter maintenance in the area of the A1M will be prioritised over the next few weeks.
