Pilsworth rd flooded again

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 09:41, Thu 29 December 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4064797.

The exit from j3 into pilsworth Rd is flooded again and this happens each time there is heavy rain. It'd been like this now for 3 days running. It's impossible to drive through the water is so deep . Causing lots of hold ups as traffic leaving motorway needs to cross onto wrong side of road to avoid flood

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways,

The flooding was confirmed as originating from a local authority road. We closed the slip road to allow work to take place to clear the water off National Highways network.

Should flooding re-occur here we'd recommend reporting this directly to the relevant local authority. Contact details for local authorities can be found by using the search facility at: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-council.

    Kind regards, National Highways

    State changed to: Closed
