Drain lo longer has any tarmac around it
Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category by Alan Brown at 22:51, Thu 22 December 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4053828.
A31 Azalea Roundabout, westbound. Hard against the roundabout itself (i.e right on the driving line for the "fast" lane. The tarmac has is missing round the entire drain creating a quite severe problem for driver in that lane. This has been getting progressively worse over the last few weeks.

Having driven past it a few times now, I see that the drain and the tarmac around it is about and inch below the road surface level.

Yes fixed... sort of. The tarmac has been replaced, but the drain itself has sunk so there is still quite a nasty depression. Anyway, they are doing some road repair work round there at the moment, so they might redo a better job... or I may just have to re-report it.
