Clearing of ice and snow on footbridge and repair lighting

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4029274.

The footbridge is in constant use by hospital workers who have to use this bridge all times of the day. There used to be a light halfway across the bridge that has been removed and needs putting back. Also this footbridge is never glittered and is treacherous to use. Please add this footbridge to your gritting clearing schedule for ice/frost/snow conditions. I can't recall this bridge every being cleared.

    This footbridge isn't currently covered in our footpath winter maintenance programme, however the team will consider inclusion in our severe weather maintenance programme moving forward.

    The lighting issue has been brought to the attention of our lighting asset team for consideration.
