Traffic light sequence at junction of Queen Street on A63 Roger Millard Way.

These traffic lights are changing too quickly and not allowing enough vehicles on Roger Millard way to pass through, causing massive delays queuing back to Hedon. This has been happening for about a week now and people are trying to bypass the location causing issues in city centre.

I agree with the author of this issue currently occuring. At peak hours the number of pedestrians utilising this crossing is causing upwards of 25 minutes in tailbacks for traffic queuing back to St Andrews quay in the opposite direction. The traffic lights are changing to red every 40 seconds across peak times causing a large bottleneck for the city. A more sensible change would be every 2 minutes for the pedestrian crossing and with the underpass and the new bridge across the road both being within 2 minutes this gives the pedestrians options.

Traffic lights on the west bound carriageway seem to be operating from a timer now rather than a sensor. Traffic is now stopping with no pedestrians or traffic entering from other junction. This is a complete waste of everyones time putting these lights on a timer considering the amount of traffic flowing through this junction.
