Concerns re roadworks

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4005547.

Around 67B of the M20 and further east, they are putting free stones on the central reservation. On other parts the base is solid. I’m concerned that the stones will move onto the road surface resulting in stones being thrown up and cracking car windscreens. Are the stones merely a transition or permanent? Thanks.

  • Thank you for your report concerning, free stones on the central reservation on the M20.

    Having made enquiries with our service delivery manager, we can advise that this for the drainage works in centre reservation for Brock construction.

    This is for filter drain as used on all motorways and All Purpose Trunk Road (APTR).
