Drainage clapsed
Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category by Simon Courtney-Hughes at 08:24, Tue 29 November 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4001589.
I report this situation back in July and unfortunately it hasn't been addressed. The drain has clapsed outside number 3 Broadmead, Chideock. And now has started to crumble in large bits. But my biggest concern is that most of the house in the row vibrant when large lorry can't avoid this issue.

YAs this was reported as a temporary fix. Its started to sink again and will probably be in the same state is when I first reported the problem... The rubbish drain is at fault here.. But you so call professional road maintenance people think they no better. Fixed yes condition now rubbish.

Just throwing tar-mac at a continuous clapsed storm drain which does do anything at all... Apart from continuous make are houses vibrant evertime some Large goes over it... I'll be contacting you again when the crack in the walls start appearing in are properties... Iam sure the highways are liable as this problem has been reported before many times, now and years past... Please can you come and sort out this problem... my mother in law who lives in the house has a mental illness and other complications... and this is just another problem to worry about... Thankyou Simon
