Reported via mobile in the Street lighting (NH) category anonymously at 07:58, Fri 25 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3992013.

Several street lights are out on the slip road onto the A56 including the one at the top of th slip which is adjacent to a pedestrian and school crossing. Also the illumination for the 50mph signs doesn't work. The street lights have been out now for several years.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways,

We've passed your report of a lighting outage to our inspection team. We'll include this in our daily safety inspections and raise a job for any remedial work required. We'd like to mention we're responsible for the bottom of the slip where it meets the A56 (from Broadway). The local authority are responsible for the top section of the slip, from the roundabout. If you have concerns about the lighting/signage in this section we'd recommend you contact the local authority directly.

    Kind regards National Highways
