M4 westbound from M25

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3988680.

It is 2320. The roads are practically empty. The variable speed limit is set at 60mph. There are signs for closed lanes in 600 yards that fail to materialise. This issue was present in the opposite direction on the 18th November around 0900 when we went on holiday. Are the variable speed limits being monitored properly? Have redundant signs been removed?
